I am using a Garmin Edge 305. The data uploads properly but the date in the history does not show correctly. For example I upload data last night (6/25) but the history date shows 6/17. Any ideas what I've done wrong?

Apperently my unit had some old data prior to my purchase, (amzon selling returned equipment I imagine)
Anyway, I did a hard reset, (turn the power on while holding the mode button down) Erases all history. I then paired up my accessories again, tested it in 1 second mode and smart recording mode. The hard reset seemed to work for me. My 305 edge is now downloading map and graph data to my PC. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
After deleting all but one month of history on the device, it still would not upload new workouts. It would hang in garmin connect, or indicate problem in training center. The solution, finally, was to delete all history EXCEPT for the new unloaded workouts from the device. They then uploaded.
May not be linked to date of ride. Device has a limited memory, so you have to erase history when long rides, or frequent rides. When memory is full, device is managing by erasing older data waypoints.
You may also activate intelligent recording of waypoints, that calculates waypoints record when direction or speed changes. This optimizes memory usage.
