I bought a sylvania mp3 smpk4083 mp3 player and it orgianlly worked with my computer, but now when I connect it to my computer it turns on my player, but won't be regonized by my computer? How do

Same thing happened to me with an IPOD. When I plugged it in to one of my USB ports, it ******** up all the USB ports. I suggest reinstalling the drivers for your USB Ports. Then install the software that came with your MP3 Player before replugging it in. Good luck :)

How do I download music to my sylvania smpk 7634?

This is for win XP -- turn your sylvania player off, connect it to the usb port on your computer with the cord that came with the device, now turn the player on. Your computer should recognize the sylvania player and automatically install it. Once it recognizes it and the device is installed and ready, go to your windows media player then to your music files. You tell the media player to connect to your MP3 player by using the Sync mode in the Win Media Player. You can drag individual songs to the syn play list or an entire album now click on start sync and your media player should upload your music files to your Sylvania smpk. You can download all your files or whichever ones you drag to the sync list. I have this player and it worked perfectly for me, I now have hundreds of songs on the player as I uploaded most of my music files.

I just purchased a smpk7634 mp3 player. I can't get it to work. The tiny manual that came with it is so tiny I can't read it. Is there a manual or instructions you could email me? My email is:...

Here's the "manual" but it doesn't explain much or very well. One loads music (mp3, mwa or another I can't remember) files by connecting the player to a computer with the supplied usb cable (or any standard usb to usb mini connector) and the player is recognized by the computer (windows at least) as a flash drive. Videos are the same way, although we discovered that many avi videos did not play, only those we converted using the software on the small cd that came with the player. Oh yes, the first time we put something on the player and detached it from the computer, the player did not recognize it - not until we powered off the player and then turned it back on.

How to put msic on it

Hi,
Install the Windows driver included in the product package before connecting your Sylvania MP3 player. Insert the included driver CD into your CD-ROM drive and run the setup file if it does not load automatically. This driver makes sure your computer can recognize and operate the Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 2 Insert one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 3 Insert the other end of the same USB cable into the USB port on the computer.
  • 4 Wait for the computer to recognize the Sylvania MP3 player as a connected device. Open your file manager or browser to locate the Sylvania MP3 player as a drive or connected device if your computer does not prompt you automatically.
  • 5 Open the file folder containing the MP3 or WMA digital music files you wish to download to your Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 6 Drag and drop the file or folder icons of your desired digital music onto the Sylvania MP3 player device icon. Drag and drop the digital music into open folders within the Sylvania MP3 player device icon as well.

I have the swagger 2gb and i cant figure out to download the mp3 to my mp3 player

    1. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the player. Plug the other end into an available USB.
    2. The player will light up with the red flashing LED light flashing to indicate that the device is recognized and ready for data transfer.
    3. Wait for the computer to recognize the player.
    4. The Removable Disk auto-run window will appear on your computer.

My husband bought me a sylvania ipod for Christmas...I can not get it charged...I am wondering if there should be another part that charges it besides just the USB..I am electronically challenged..lol I...

Hi, is the Sylvania ipod play actually an ipod or a mp3.

If it's an mp3 i'm guessing what you would do would be connect it to the computer via USB cable. Switch it on and your computer should hopefully recognize it as a removable disc. If the light on the MP3 player lights up it should be charging. When the light automatically switches off it should be fully charged and ready for use.

At least i think so. I'm basing this on one of my slightly older MP3s, so it might not work, but it's worth a try. Good Luck!
