The only buttons you can set to CO are the left side buttons with lights, so assuming that, press PROGRAM the button dial 2 STORE. That clears the button. Now, just in case you lost the sequence of buttons for outside lines, from the bottom press the left side buttons and read them. If they're not in 1234 sequence, dial 0x STORE to restore the CO line that belongs there.
With the handset still on the cradle press program and then the desired one-touch button. Now press 0 followed by the desired CO line example 1 or 2. Now press the Auto Dial / Store button to save the changes. Press program to exit programming mode. Please rate if this answer was helpfull Thank you
So that we're on the same page, a 7730 has PF bottons on the right and "CO" buttons on the left. If you have a different phone, like a TA-308xx or a Euro phone that isn't offered in the U.S., then it may only have a single row of buttons.
Programming is the same. If the button is a CO button (with a light), then your one touch requres a "2" in front of it to speed dial a nunber and a "9" or outside line access code to dial an outside number. So, to call 212-555-1212 you press PROGRAM the CO button, 292125551212 STORE. An inside number is stored under the CO button with a "1" plus the extension number.
A PF button already has the assumed "2", so you would just dial 92125551212 in the example above.
Go to your phone call settings and activate speed dials feature.
Then come back to your phone in normal display mode, press and hold any desired digit e.g 2,3,4,5,6,7 on the key pad and follow the prompt for assigning of phone nos for speed dialing.
Well let's see. You have 12 CO buttons and 12 PF buttons, and at least 100 system speed dial numbers available.
Which ones are you looking for?
Depending on what Panasonic system you're connected to, the PF buttons program by pressing PROGRAM and the button, and dialing the number with a "9" or trunk access code in front of it then STORE. If you're connected to a TD system it's PROGRAM 99.
System speed dial numbers are entered from the main or manager's phone under system program 001.
