Clock on control panel works, control panel counts down when start is pushed, light inside doesn't work nor fan or light under unit. I replaced fuse but wasn't the problem. Any ideas? I first noticed problem when I was replacing light under unit and bulb was broken from bulb base and caused an arc which probably was reason breaker was tripped.

We see (and repair) this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid.

At our Web site, you can get details of our service, plus we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

The lights can can be inoperable or stuck on or stuck in "night light" mode. Sometimes this will similarly affect the fan operation or inside light, too.

Smh9187 microwave stopped working. The units display works, light inside works, vent fan works, but when you put food in it doesnt make a sound.

On model SMH9187B and SMH9187ST, one likely cause is a defective bottom door switch (primary interlock) or that switch's mount is loose, misaligned, or broken. The service manuals for these models are at my site here:
SMH9187B service manual
SMH9187W service manual 1 ' service manual 2
SMH9187ST service manual
Also see my help file on door switches here.
You can order Samsung parts by part number from the Pros here.
If it's not a door switch issue, it may be a blown high voltage fuse not to be confused with the line fuse) or a relay issue on the board, which I can repair for you.

My microwave doesn't work, but display works

I would strongly consider replacing the microwave oven, prices have dropped considerably. The problem you are describing is in the keypad controller board.

JVM1190 wont cook

You have a blown actuator. This is the device that creates the microwaves that cook the food. The cost of one of these will be as much as a new unit.

My microwave is not heating-- the control panel seems to work-- you punch in the buttons and it starts counting down the minutes, but nothing happens except for the clock to count down. The model # is...

Since the inside light and fan don't come on but the timer counts down, I would suspect first a door switch problem, or (less likely) a problem on the control panel.

If you or someone you know decide to look into it, we have critical safety information, info on door switch diagnosis and replacement, and disassembly information at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel, which is very helpful when troubleshooting.

If you think the problem is on the control panel, we repair these nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid.
