Question about Toshiba Satellite A60 Notebook
My laptop is a Toshiba EA60-155(TSA-67E-00300C8J). I need the sound drivers for this i don't have audio responses with the Realtek it has already installed. I can't hear any sound from my Laptop for now. Help out please. My Email Id:firstname.lastname@example.org
Some things I'd check first:
1) Device Manager: confirm you have a hardware/driver issue: you'd see a yellow circle with exclamation mark next to the item with a problem
2) Sound and Audio Devices - that the system Master Volume isn't muted AND check that the volume is set; while you are at it check that the "Wave" input isn't muted/volume is turned up
3) Check the external volume control - set it at half way
4) try using a set of headphones (rule out bad laptop speakers?)
In terms of drivers, do you have a Satellite A60 (vs EA60-155)? I couldn't see that model on the download support pages:
All require you to specify the model, then specific model. I used the EU site for the Satellite A60 laptop. Among the list of drivers shown, I see one for the sound card.
