Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

for the same reason as the other ones, you did turn it on wifi calls..
in order to send and receive text message you need to turn it off.
settings/wifi/more.
at the bottom says wifi calls you need to disable then try to send a text message.

I get the same text messages sent to my phone over and over again. Annoying. Now, in Spain, I have received the same three messages (sms) about 100 times. Where lies the problem? What do I do? The sender...

is it spam message or message from your friend?

spam message - report it to local authority and service provider. they will ban it for you.

friend - its a network problem. ask your friend to do a setting on his/her phone. reduce the lifetime of sms from unlimited to say..1 hour or so.

Can't receive an picture message an i can't send a text message

You'll have to call your service provider. The SIM card stores a phone number for the network's text message center. For some reason, this phone has a glitch where it deletes the center number. Your service provider might be able to update it remotely but I had to take the SIM out and place it in an older phone so I could enter the text message center number manually. This fixed the problem.

Hope this helps

GSM mode

First of all, what service do you use? I'd assume you are using Nextel, which is iden. For this reason, setting it to gsm doesn't work. iden was apparently the last setting used, so "last active" also works. Motorola, for some unknown reason, decided not to allow Nextel users to text message.

There are two ways around this.
1. One is to send a multimedia message with only text (no pictures, sounds, etc). This should be treated as a text message.
2. The other way is to follow this guide, which should allow you to change the registry on your phone and get rid of the message. Note that the first posters made the guide for telus users, so be sure to use the nextel sms number (found later in the thread, I believe).
