Just is one identification number and know that the glasses be retaled with this vehicle.

the vin is an ID number so you can say its yours and prove it... some cars (honda) were made in japan and some here(usa)... if you need a part and the auto parts store ask you which one you have (car).. tell them the vin and they know what you need I know everything about 92 accords... whats wrong with it? besides the slow windows and the carpet coming off the doors....... ha ha

Only available through your VW dealer with your VIN.

You need to see them with your car title as proof of ownership.

These codes are not available on-line or anywhere else for obvious reasons.

If the code they give you does not work, pull the radio and give them the serial number.

FYI .NEVER post your VIN on a public forum. Same reason you wouldn't post your SS #.

Also ask about RECALLS

Do u mean your vin number or engine number? vin number apears in several places it can be located on dash drivers side in front by windshield or on sticker on door jam or in engine bay located on fire wall. For engine number it is located on block right next to where the block meets the transmission its stamped on msall flat surface there also sometimes under hood on sticker.

The 10th digit is the year identifier for Mercedes VIN #s, and a "1" indicates a 2001 model.
