We have a howden hja8513.the problem is the machine will not drain or spin.where is the drain on this model?

That is not a good sign. If you told us the model number it would be nice. To cut to the chase, the parts that need to be replaced are going to require the unit to be removed from the installed location and then drained and turned over and worked on. The parts might include the heating element and the motor and or pump. Since you did not show us the model number, that is all we can say.

i found this one as your model detail is missing
i think you need to remove the kick board if its a built type kitchen inset washer to gain access
on the above site is the manuals for the other models they make

There is a possibility that something like a coin has got stuck in the impeller of the drain pump, you may want to check and clean the drain pump, in most of the machines there are coin traps provided look for the same in you machine.

we have a howdens dishwasher model number hja8630, which is full of water which hasnt drained . i have ladled it out checked filters are unblocked but it still fails to start. it does a click click sound and then nothing . only 18 months old and only ever used twice a week
