I need to know how to delete from camera - Sanyo Video Cameras

Different cameras have different ways of deleting pictures. Usually there is a way to view the pictures you have taken on the camera screen and then when you find a picture that you would like to delete, you have to press a delete button (maybe a button with a trash can on it). If you tell me the camera model, I can explain exactly how to delete pictures. Of course you can always insert the memory card in your computer and delete the pictures from there. Hi you can either go through each photo and delete them one by one or you can connect you camera to computer via cable or if you have a card reader attatched to the computer then you can acess every thing on the card and delete it.
If you want to do it through the camera you need to look at the picture then press menu button this will then let you delete the photos its easier if its connected to comp as you can delete the whole lot in one go let me know if you need further assistance ok

It depends on the brand or model of camera you are using, but if you cant get how to delete a picture from your camera, simply get a card reader, then remove the memory card of the camera and insert it into the card reader, connect the card reader with your computer, so from your computer you will be able to delete old picture. But I still know that most digital cameras should be able to delete old pictures, simply read your camera manual to see how to delete or you tell me the model and brand of the camera that you are using.

The best thing that you can do here if you want to delete all the data/pictures from the camera at once yu can simply use the format option from your camera menu... and that will delete all the pictures at once...

DCIM is a folder inside the camera. You can right click on the folder while the camera or card is connected to computer and select delete.

the camera will create a new dcim folder when it takes more picture.

plug your camera into the usb port on your computer..it should find the camera...
go to my computer and look for the removable disk drive or a pic of your camera
you can click on it and see the files in the folders...from there you can simply delete them by highlighting them and rt clicking then choosing delete

The only way I know how to delete is to delete through the Chameleon software. if you select one photo then hit the delete icon on the right side it will delete off the camera. Haven't found a way to delete from the actual camera.
