Bosch axxis 3510 dryer doesn't dry clothes

When I try to dry my clothes on the timer option, the heat doesn't seem come on at all or barely comes on. When I try drying my clothes on the extra dry setting sometimes it stops when my clothes are still very damp.

I have a friend who is an appliance repair man so if I could buy the schematic or service manual he could could fix it, otherwise I want to know if I need a new power modual or a new operating modual.

Cheers, Laur

When attempting to restart, the display will show 20 (mins) even though I've pushed something different (ex. extra dry usually is 117 mins). Sometimes the dryer will run a few minutes after that and shut off again and sometimes it won't even restart. If it doesn't restart, I try to move the dial to other options and they too will flash 20 mins and not start. The only dial option that will work at this point is the air dry and if I run it on air dry for bit, then I can put it back on a heated drying option and it will work for awhile again and then repeat the same problem.

Well first check the Thermal area inside the unit, if you have an idea doing this, it could possibly easily for you to do the work.. on the thermal area check for any burn fuse or any faulty parts relating or was connected on the thermal area.

Do the checking on this parts:

    Vent
For any obstruction in the vent duct from the dryer to the outside of the house. the duct must be clean and clear of lint or any other substance.

    Heating element
If it is, your dryer still heats, but at such a low temperature that it takes three or four times as long to dry the clothes. If the element is partially burned out, replace it.

    Internal ductwork
If it gets clogged, your dryer can't dry properly. In most dryers, to get to the internal ductwork to clear the clog, first, you have to substantially disassemble the dryer. To remove internal clogs is to remove the lint filter and use a flashlight to inspect the inside of the duct. If it looks clogged and you can't clear it using your vacuum, contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

    Cycling thermostat
Although this isn't a common problem, one of the thermostats that controls the temperature in your dryer may break and cause the dryer to heat poorly. If so, you need to replace it. The thermostat is usually a small, round, black device mounted to an oblong steel plate. The plate is mounted to the internal ductwork with two screws.

Hope this initial info/idea helps you..

Kindly rate my solutions if this one solves/helps you correct the problem..

    Thank you

i would check the actual electrical connections, to both the unit, and the downline connections to that actual element itself, its unusual for an elemnt to only go a lilttle bit... it works or it doesn't...

Bosch Axxis Starts and stops

The lint light keeps coming on and shuts the dryer off so clothes are not dry. I checked the filter and it is clear. Now the bottom of filter is cracked (plastic part) so I need to replace. But why does the lint light come on now after 5 years of use? It never came on before even when the lint filter was full?

Which in my opinion is better for your needs and lacking venting.....LG and Miele also have 15 cycle so now the decision is what your needs and Budget. Prices range from 700-1500 but well worth the money. Bosch Axxis Condensation Dryer (model: WTMC8320US) you can machine-dry clothes without venting hot, moist air (or indeed any air at all). The Axxis Condensation Clothes Dryer condenses the moisture in the hot air to water and releases it through the water the need for ducting and a blower motor to help expel hot air. Ventless dryers make installation easy, fast, and very cost effective. And since little heat is lost when the air passes through the condensing chamber, it takes very little energy to raise the temperature back to optimal drying levels, thereby saving you energy. The Bosch Axxis ventless dryer features the unique DUO TRONIC system with 11 auto dry cycles that tailor the drying cycle to your clothing. And Bosch's exclusive DUO TRONIC system combines two moisture and three temperature sensors to automatically deliver precision drying.
