ap meen adding powder ti will go on until there is enough toner added to the developer if the developer is to old or not enouth it may go on for very long maybe 10 min the copys my become durty or very light and developer must be replace by a technician
"AP" stands for Agitation in Process", it appears in the copy quantity display when toner is being replenished inside of the copier. Wait a few minutes..this happens after continuously copying for long periods, or copying dense things like photos. Sometimes it will occur after running the machine when it is out of toner. replace toner and turn on/off a few times to "agitate toner. Don't worry about the scan lamp being lit while this is happening, it will go out.
Your copier is adding toner.Since they cant make a "T" with a 7 segment display, they used a "P" for powder. If it does not go away, replace the toner cartridge and wait a few minutes. Good Luck!
AP = Adding Powder (toner) it's not an error
it's adding toner from the container into the developer unit while displaying AP. when there is enough toner in the container the AP will disappear and copies can be made when there is not enough toner in the container the toner empty light will come on.
