I am looking for the electrical circuit board schematic for the power modual and the operating modual for the Bosch 3510 dryer. The problem seems to be on the board.

  • barron204 Jun 26, 2008

The problem is not mechanical, it is electrical. The dryer "thinks" it's on a mode it's not. The problem comes from either the power modual or operating modual - for example if a diod on the board has shorted out the message isn't getting through(but it's not that). This is why we need an electrical schematic to check where the problem is on the board. Any idea where we could get a service manual or electrical schematic for the Bosch 3510 dryer or whether this problem is more likely teh operating modual or the power modual?

Hi,

Based likewise on your post here, I tried looking for a service manual but only found a possible source of the wiring diagram, have you tried here. Unfortunately, you need to be a paid member to access the files to my understanding.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Well first check the Thermal area inside the unit, if you have an idea doing this, it could possibly easily for you to do the work.. on the thermal area check for any burn fuse or any faulty parts relating or was connected on the thermal area.

Do the checking on this parts:

    Vent
    For
any obstruction in the vent duct from the dryer to the outside of the
house. the duct must be clean and clear of lint or any other substance.

    Heating element
    If
it is, your dryer still heats, but at such a low temperature that it
takes three or four times as long to dry the clothes. If the element is
    partially burned out, replace it.

    Internal ductwork
    If
it gets clogged, your dryer can't dry properly. In most dryers, to get
to the internal ductwork to clear the clog, first, you have to
substantially disassemble the dryer. To remove internal clogs is to
remove the lint filter and use a flashlight to inspect the inside of
the duct. If it looks clogged and you can't clear it using your vacuum,
contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

    Cycling thermostat
    Although
this isn't a common problem, one of the thermostats that controls the
temperature in your dryer may break and cause the dryer to heat poorly.
If so, you need to replace it. The thermostat is usually a small,
round, black device mounted to an oblong steel plate. The plate is
mounted to the internal ductwork with two screws.

Hope this initial info/idea helps you..

Kindly rate my solutions if this one solves/helps you correct the problem..

    Thank you

Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

Trying to find out how old this unit is Not drying

The fd number will tell you date of manufacture.
eg FD 8506...the 85 means 2005 the 06 means June
FD7809 the 78 mean 1998 the 09 is Sept.
If the belts broken it will not dry the load.

Bosch axxis wtl 5410 dryer takes too long to dry.

You should have a cycling thermostat. this is most likely bad or your dryer vent may be clogged. Something is cutting the heat off before it gets hot enough. Both these cause this problem.

Bosch Axxis Starts and stops

The lint light keeps coming on and shuts the dryer off so clothes are not dry. I checked the filter and it is clear. Now the bottom of filter is cracked (plastic part) so I need to replace. But why does the lint light come on now after 5 years of use? It never came on before even when the lint filter was full?

I need advice on dryer for my kitchen.

This isn't an add its two different units that I have installed and are both condensation dryers. Which in my opinion is better for your needs and lacking venting.....LG and Miele also have 15 cycle so now the decision is what your needs and Budget. Prices range from 700-1500 but well worth the money. Bosch Axxis Condensation Dryer (model: WTMC8320US) you can machine-dry clothes without venting hot, moist air (or indeed any air at all). The Axxis Condensation Clothes Dryer condenses the moisture in the hot air to water and releases it through the water the need for ducting and a blower motor to help expel hot air. Ventless dryers make installation easy, fast, and very cost effective. And since little heat is lost when the air passes through the condensing chamber, it takes very little energy to raise the temperature back to optimal drying levels, thereby saving you energy. The Bosch Axxis ventless dryer features the unique DUO TRONIC system with 11 auto dry cycles that tailor the drying cycle to your clothing. And Bosch's exclusive DUO TRONIC system combines two moisture and three temperature sensors to automatically deliver precision drying. This machine virtually operates at the touch of a button to prevent over drying and damage to your clothes. With the stacking unit I think this is your best option due to keeping moisture, and later mold problems due too condensation. The Ariston Stackable Condensing Dryer ASL75CXSNA is the perfect choice for any home lacking venting capabilities and is the largest condenser dryer on the market, bringing the convenience of a compact laundry system to any home. Wrinkles are minimized with the innovative Pre and Post CreaseCare feature - periodically tumbling the clothing until you come back to remove it - and the handy Bidirectional Rotation of the stainless steel drying drum. Clothes gone musty from long closet stays can be quickly and easily refreshed with the ASL75CXSNA using the intuitive Air Fluff cycle, and the 12-hour Delay Timer allows for freshly-dried loads at your convenience.Key features include: spacious 16-pound load capacity; 180º reversible full metal door; removable lint filter; included stacking kit; Easy Iron option; and electronic Sensor Controls. The Ariston Stackable Condensing Dryer ASL75CXSNA has the high class, top performance, and compact convenience to be a welcome addition to any energy efficient home.Note: This item pairs with the matching Ariston Stackable Washers. I hope this was helpfull~ Have a good day
