SOURCE: LG 47" LCD TV - 47LC7DF Clicking Noise

I was told that these clicking noises (which happen on my Magnavox LCD too) were due to the "power required" at the internal switch. Seems that the power required to immediately turn on the TV is too much for a standalone household outlet, so it "surges" power in a series to get enough there. Hence, the clicking sounds are actually mini power surges to send more power to the internal circuits to turn the TV on.

If your set is like mine, these noises generally stop after a minute or two, correct?

SOURCE: lg tv interferes with my virgin media box.

I had the same problem so I moved the virgin media box to behind the LG TV. Problem solved as an infra red sent out by the TV on power up doesnt affect the digibox anymore.. ;0)

Have you tried using a different input on the main board? Like moving from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2, or moving from Componet 1, to Componet 2?

SOURCE: I'm having problems with my 42 inch LG LCD . when

That can be the T-CON board failure or main board. It can be heat relate so you will need freeze spray for electronics troubleshooting to cool down the T-CON board first to see if it starts working again.
You should also check the power supply first to make sure it does not have any bad caps and the DC output voltages are OK.

Apple Macbook Pro does not connect to wireless network

The antennas in the Macbook Pros have had an issue with reception due to the aluminum housing of the laptop but, should still receive decent reception just not as much as a plastic Macbook or plastic PC laptop. It could be possible that the antenna's cables have become disconnected from the Airport Extreme card inside your Macbook Pro, that the card itself is faulty or damaged or that the Antennas themselves have been damaged in some way. As always make sure you have the latest updates and have installed any driver updates from Apple regarding your Airport Extreme card. Here's an article that may help eliminate any wireless interference that may be affecting your signal strength. Apple - Wireless Interference hope this helps, if so don't forget to comment, vote, etc. Thank you.

LG VU Interference?

Some phones are just plain better than others in both reception and transmission. I wouldn't think it is interference since another phone works within the house and on the same network. You might want to look into a home cell phone signal booster (googling that will result in a lot of retailers), but these are by no means cheap. However, they can make a huge difference in quality of service within a structure.

Need a replacement batter for a LG 15LW1R 15 in. LCD TV

an359: It went again. I eventually got through to an LG (so-called) service centre based in Slough and they directed me to an official repairer on the North Circular Road near Staples Corner, London called Atlantic Electric. They charged me a standard £50 just to look at it. I returned and saw it working in the workshop - the guy said it was probably interference from other wireless/remote controlled devices and being taken out of my house to another location allowed it to find itself, but when I got it back home it wouldn't come on so I took it back again. Eventually they got it working. They didn't charge me after the initial £50. Since then I've been getting a picture - the receiver is in the living room & the monitor's in the kitchen and sometimes for up to a couple of days I get no connection, but more often than not it's been working since. So it may be worth trying to pair it up away from other electronics if you have this problem after removing the battery for a couple of hours which initially worked for me.

GE Dect 6.0 Cordless - Loud Static

question is are you running a pc and router/ modem on the same land line
if so you will need the line filters to the phone base
the computer data is transferred by the same land line and there is every possibility that the different frequencies is what is causing the static
reference from a uniden trouble shooter ( will be common as the phones use the same medium)
lots of noise or static on the line === possible solutions --check for interference from appliances ( microwave , tv etc ) or wireless devices ( baby monitors wifi equipment etc)
move the handset base away from the source
if you have any device that uses the phone line , add a DSL or telephone line filter to the system

it is possible from the times you state that the interference could be coming form a neighbour or further down the line so the filter may be the option
available from phone shops or places like JAYCAR

No channel signal is found in searching tv channels (15LW1R)

Sometimes a power surge or outage will wipe all the presets. (Don't you just hate that?) Put a surge protector on the outlet before you reset the system.
