In a running PC I have changed RAM, Hard disk and BIOS battary, but there is no display? What is the solution of this problem because CPU Fan and the new devices installed are in good condition.

Sounds stupid but make sure all cords are plugged in properly, also, if you're using a vga connector or similar, make sure the outer 'pins' are screwed in.

try to connect another CPU on your monitor to check if your monitor running in good condition, if the display same problem, your monitor have a problem, you need to troubleshoot or as an assistant of a technician to repair your computer....if this monitor connect to another CPU is working, check your Video card if you have if none try to purchase a new video card because in your case the problem is video card adapter...

My computer motherboard is not working no display while the processor is in running condition. kindly help me to solve the problem thanking you ganesan

Hi,

There are lots of reason why you don't have display while your pc is turned on.

1) Check the power of your monitor. Maybe it was unplugged or not turned on.
2) Check the connection from your CPU tower to your monitor. Maybe it is not connected or loosen.
3) It is possible also that you have a defective monitor. Try using another monitor to prove that it is really not working.

Hope it helps.

Thanks!

I have a hp a350 cpu.the problem is that the light of led has gone red,as before in working condition it was green. It can't start.the power to hardisk is also not coming.please tell a sollution.

As you say has become red and no power to the hard disk.
First check the power cable for any loose connections and check if it give power to the cpu and the fan placed on processor starts working as you start the power. If fan it starts and with in few seconds stops then your power supply/SMPS is weak or damage. So replace it for proper working of your computer. And if after power on all fines but red led on monitor and no power to hard disk Try to replace the hard disk power cables because they are not working because of it no operating system is detected and led of monitor is red. After replacing hard disk cables hard disk starts working and still no display or red led on monitor check the vga cable for loose connection or replace it.If you are using vga display from graphic card try to get display first from onboard vga slot. After it your problem will disappear and your pc run smooth and fine.

My new cpu can't start

Hi,

I think there was some hardware issue in your CPU,if RAM is unplg or loose in that condition CPU will be not working,Replug the RAM properly and start the system if still cpu not working thats mean there was a problem with your cpu SMPS fan (place backside in cpu for cooling),cpu fan SMPS is not support,Please change it.
good luck..

AOC color monitor model 5En...during power on all led lights blinks then stops blinking without display action. all led lights on no more action observed.

actually if u repair an aoc monitor alone without getting connected to cpu once u switch on the monitor all led's will lit on ( green light ) it will remain on situation until u connect the vga connector to cpu that's the time led's will lit off and only the power led will remain in green condition.some aoc 5en once u power on power led is in green condition and if not connected to cpu it will be in orange condition.hope u get some idea but i am not sure if it will work with ur monitor. but as long as LEDs lit on i think no problem with ur monitor.

Cpu lead lights on but no display in monitor

check the RAM condition, For that remove the RAM from mother board and clean the two side of RAM contact terminals wiping with the eraser and insert it again into the mother board.

if you have using more than one ram just remove both the RAMs reinsert one by one after cleaning the RAMs one by one .

I have Asus P5S800 main board

dr-afacan, You unfortunatley are not giving me a lot of info to work with. There could be several things to try. First check your cases front panel to Board connections. Then if they are correct I would swap out the power supply with anything compatible to check and see. If that PS is really OK. If you do not have the info for the board go here http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5S800-VM/e1767_p5s800-vm.pdf

Next step would be to either check the processor, possible BIOS settings or update. Or you unfortunatley just have a dead board. Asus has a good customer RMA system... Just some thoughts.....PCdok
