My motherboard have power but no display on screen

Please follow the following :

* Make sure that you have connected the Monitor cable firmly.
* Make sure that CPU fan is spinning else check & make it run (your pc won't boot if you missed your fan).
* Check for any unusual beep sounds after you switch on.
* Remove your RAM, Power cables, other Add on cards. Clean/wipe them properly and reinsert them correctly.
* If your PC installed Graphic Card, remove it and run your PC again using your onboard vga port.
* Replace your Power Supply Unit with another good conditioned one.
If the problem persist check your processor.

Display not comming ,even I discconect hardrive , only for 2min. display come and then gone ...my board and ram is new just replace my cpu from old baord to new gigabayte g31 board..plz tell me i m very...

Disconnecting the hard drive will not influence the system's graphics. If the display turns on, then abrubtly turns off when you power on the machine, check to make sure the CPU is good, if it is a known working CPU, and the CPU is suppoted by your PC, you may need to reset the bios to default* Then boot the PC, and if it functions, enter bios, and set the settings as needed.

*there's usually a jumper, check your motherboard documentation

There is no display. my ram, CPU and all other parts are in good condition. the keyboard light is on and the cpu fan starts automically.

If your monitor is working properly, the you might have a bad video card in your computer. Try several isolation.

1. Try to plug another monitor to your computer.

2. If you have a built in video card, try to install an external video card to one of those pci slots on *********** board.

3. If you have an external video card, try removing it from its existing slot and place it in another slot.

Good luck!

Pc shut down. when resterted no graphics or

Hello

Regarding with this problem, when computer which is shutting down. It is the processor problem they can not reach the temperature. Be sure that the CPU fan is spinning so that it will control the CPU temperature. If the fan is not spinning it will cause overheating. Try to disassemble the unit specifically the CPU. Clean your unit remove the dust, when you assemble back your unit make sure that you will put a thermal paste between the CPU and the CPU heat sink so that the of the CPU will absorbed by the heat sink.

Good luck!

Cpu lead lights on but no display in monitor

check the RAM condition, For that remove the RAM from mother board and clean the two side of RAM contact terminals wiping with the eraser and insert it again into the mother board.

if you have using more than one ram just remove both the RAMs reinsert one by one after cleaning the RAMs one by one .

I am facing 2nd problem with my pc.

Most likely problem is an unsuppoterd cpu. Check the Asus website to see if cpu you installed is compatible with this board.

CPU Problem

Most likely it's the motherboard but to make sure. Ask your maintenance guy to plug in your CPU to a working motherboard... If your CPU fails, change it. Same with the board. Put the working CPU on your board. If the board fails, change the board.

No display but cpu fan is working condition

check the connection of your video card, this is the common problem of cpu's specially if you are moving from one place to another. try to uninstall the connector of your monitor to the video card. if you have an extra video card try to replace the existing then power on. loose connection of your video will give you a rapid beep sound. if you are using the on board vga you try to install a video card or try to tighten up the connector.

I have Asus P5S800 main board

dr-afacan, You unfortunatley are not giving me a lot of info to work with. There could be several things to try. First check your cases front panel to Board connections. Then if they are correct I would swap out the power supply with anything compatible to check and see. If that PS is really OK. If you do not have the info for the board go here http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5S800-VM/e1767_p5s800-vm.pdf

Next step would be to either check the processor, possible BIOS settings or update. Or you unfortunatley just have a dead board. Asus has a good customer RMA system... Just some thoughts.....PCdok
