Sony vaio on Standby with black screen

My laptop has been on standby with a black screen.
You hear noise inside without any thing.
Sometimes,it will just come on for only 3 seconds and
you could see the standby window and before you attempt to
click anything it goes black again.

It was for only once and has refused to continue working with that solution.The trouble is still there.
I need to try something else that could provide a more permanent solution....SONY VAIO VGN FE 550

ya it happens sometime ,the only solution is that take out the battery completely and also disconnect the power cable from laptop.After 10 minutes put the battery in the laptop and connect it with the power cable ,now start the system and see ..........

You can go with recovery option..or take the back up of your laptoop to any other media and reinstall the operating system.

Bluescreen error are related to hardware ,but you are using laptop so this is not possible that hardware is attached wrongly.but sometimes due to wrong drivers installation also may cause this problem .see device manager if all the drivers are properly installed.

Take the battery out, unplug it and then remove and reseat the ramstick(s) that fixed the problem for me, and several others that I read about online. Goodluck!
