I am not able to see the message i typed and the message from friends in yahoo messenger 10.0.9.1264 with window 7 os

To start a webcam conversation:

1. Select Messenger ' My Webcam. The "My Webcam" window opens.

reinstall ur operating system coz there is no solution for that

Try downloading other versions of YM. Maybe YM ver10 is not compatible with the Operating System you're using.... Windows 7 is my OS before, downloaded Yahoo Messenger 10 and it doesn't work

new virus infection: it can be fixed through deleting extra key in registry settings. navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software \Microsoft \Windows \CurrentVersion \Internet Settings\ then delete keys other than 0,1,2,3,4. that extra key may be alphabet "I" or something.. (0-4 is IE default internet zone security setting..) get someone who knows around windows registry to set it right..goodluck

there is the problem in the interaction of yahoo latest version and the windows 7.. try using the earlier version of yahoo messenger. that will fix the problem

• Step 1. Enter your friend's exact Yahoo! ID or alias name. Your friend must have a Yahoo! ID in order for you to add them to your list. Important: If your friend does not have Yahoo! ID or Yahoo! Messenger yet, make sure to send them an invitation and download instructions.
  
  
• Step 2: Select the group to which you want the friend to be added. If you want to create a new group, just type the name in the space provided. Groups help you keep track of friends (e.g, work friends, chat friends, etc.) separately. Note: Group names cannot contain spaces or special characters.
  
• Step 3: Choose whether you want to use your main Yahoo! ID or one of your aliases (profiles) to add your friend. Your friend will only see the ID or alias that you choose, and not any of the others that you might have. Remember that you may need to close the Add dialog box and reopen it to see your new Yahoo! aliases.
  
• Step 4: Send your friend a message to appear along with the notice that you've added them.

Note: When you add a friend to your list, the friend is automatically notified and given the option to add you in return. If the friend adds you in return, you are notified.

Type in "%ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\" and press Enter. 7. Delete the "Messenger" folder.

VISTA OS 1. Click the "Start" menu and select "Run." If you do not see the Run command, then select Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run. 2. Type in "appwiz.cpl" and press Enter. This opens "Programs and Features." 3. Select "Yahoo! Messenger" and click "Uninstall." 4. Click the "Start" menu and select "Run" again. 5. Type in "%ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\" and press Enter. 6. hi my friend

i've seen the problem before and the fix for this issue is just to update the windows explorer thats all what you need to do

so if you have internet explorer 6 (and thats the main one thats making the issue) update it to internet explorer 7 and everything will be back to normal.
