Friend have you plug and switch the ups properly, If so then check that you have also plug your computer pin properly into a ups. If this is also right then there might been problem in a UPS charging or in ups. It might also be a system fault. Just check out the system fault by applying the direct connection to the socket. If this solve your problem then check out all the procedure of ups to work and if this does not solve problem repair ups or charge it properly. If the ups is also not charged then it also make a problem to start for sometime.
Another solution is to download and install Microsoft Virtual PC in XP, create a Virtual PC drive, and install Windows 98 onto the Virtual PC drive. This works fine if you want to run Win 9X programs which don't require access to USB ports on your computer. If you need Windows 98 to have full access to all of the computer hardware, then use palaboy's solution.
I don't see a pic of the camera. When you plug the camera in does the computer "see" it? If so you can go into the start menu, control panel, device manager, and scrol down till you find the camera. Once you do this, select the camera, don't double click, go to the top of the window and there will be an icon that will read something like "update driver software". There are other icons up there that will help as well.
