I have the same problem with playing videos from my Samsung Digimax S600 on Windows Vista. The audio plays fine on the camera, but not in Windows Media Player. The only solution I've found is to play the videos in Quicktime...then the sound works just fine. Hope this helps.

The connection should not be the problem the data is taken from a data card so the USB is not being used and like i said it is saved from data card to hard drive back to data card and placed in the camera and the sound transfers back to camera but not works on computer or editing programs on the computer

I cant download movie from Samsung sc d353 with USB cable

Hi,
Check if it has the firewire port. If so, you can get a 4 pin firewire cable and connect to the PC.
Switch on the Cam.
Open Windows Movie Maker and import video from device.

4 pin firewire would look like this:

You can use the Movie maker to burn it to the Disk

No Sound

Youll need to get your camera to a broadband equipped PC and then try the shot videos. Windows media player will automatically download the codecs needed, but I dont know how to get those to your PC.
