No, it doesn't matter the order as the splitter only distributes the 30kv to all three CRT's. You have a bad blue CRT. You can confirm this by lightly tapping on the neck of it with the handle end of a screwdriver. Again not too hard as you could break the CRT. Any shorts in the CRT should show up at that time or get worse.

ok a friend gave me the tv.it would not turn on.while looking over the tv i noticed the spliter looked like it had smoke stains on it.so i pulled it off the tv to take a closer look at it.it checked out ok.but it was about 2 weeks later before i put splitter back on tv.i think i put wires back on the splitter right but not sure.when looking at splitter from front of tv left to right on spliter the wires go blue green red but when looking at tv from the front. the tubes are left red center green & right is blue which makes me think i put wires back on wrong?any way i found the problem with tv not coming on .replaced cap on power board.now it comes on.but blue tube flashes like a strobe lite.if i crossed the wires coming from red tube to spliter & blue tube to splitter would this cause the blue tube to flash like that?or does it matter the order the tubs are pluged into spliter?
What kind of issue are you having with the TV?
