How to change belt on bissell proheat powersteamer

The water supply stopped while shampooing. I removed the cover to access the belt and the belt was broken. I bought a new belt at a vacuum shop, but can't figure out how to put it on the roller.

I have a teal color brissel pro heat steam vacuum. My belt broke on the roller and I wonder if I can go to a store nearby and get a new one and what side belt or number do I get.

    Thank You

I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure this out, and another 15 minutes putting the top face plate back on before I realized how to actually fix this, but the fix in itself is easy once you know what to do. Once you remove the face plate that hides the belt and water pump assembly you should see a red plastic cradle that is what needs to be removed, flip the vacuum up so you can see the brushes you should see that same red piece look closely hidden is a screw that holds that piece in place remove it and now you can move a black swiveling cover that hides the brush belt as well as the water pump belt. It should be pretty straight forward from here, you will have to take the brush belt off to put the water pump belt on, after both belts are on swivel the black cover back in place, replace the red plastic cradle piece and the belt face plate cover and your good to go. Good Luck

Check to see if you get water from the hand held nozzle if so you have a clogged heater. If you get nothing at neither the floor or hose check the belt on the right side of the machine there is a cover that you need to remove it runs the pump and may be stretched out or broken. Also check the solution tank if it is not sealed properly you won't get any water either. For parts cleaning solution or questions visit www.stevessewandvac.com.

Bissle will not let water out if Bladder

Check the vale at the bottom of the tank. Push it in and see if water comes out ok, also check to make sure the seal is on the valve asm. Check the pump belt to see if it broke. Could have a bad pump. Is the top cover seated against the base in the back, if it is raised up, then it also raises the tank so it can't work.

Belt removal Bissel PowerSteam ProHeat

First take off the cover on the left side oif the top cover, then turn it over, remove the screw holding the red lock and pull the cap and brush roll out, remove the cap, remove the cogged belt, then you can put the new pump belt thru that slot, put over the pulley on the pump and then stretch it to go over the motor shaft. Then put back together.
