Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
I just got my DS lite fixed (unrelated problem, the hinge was broken) It was in perfect working condition. After about three hours playing the power switch broke off. Seeing as I just got it fixed I wasn't going to spend the extra money to fix it through Nintendo again. I opened it and the power switch plastic had broken off. I tried to power it up with a paper clip and the bottom screen flashed and didn't turn on. The top screen didn't do anything. I used a battery from a second DS that I had to check if it was the battery and it did the same thing. Both battery were fully charged.
I have a second DS and wanted to test the broken DS to see if it the top screen was broken too or if it was just the power switch. Bad idea because now both DS aren't turning on, the bottom screen flashes but then turns off.
I have replaced shells before and had no problem.
Tested both DS with both top screens neither are turning on.
