It could be the roller wheels that the drum turns on going
bad. They have bearings in them and they will eventually go bad and start
making quite a racket. They will also make the drum turn roughly if they are in
bad enough shape. You will need to remove the front panel to access the wheels.
You will need to purchase a replacement set at an appliance parts store. It’s a
pretty easy off – easy on replacement. Ask the parts store if they have any
specific instructions specific to your model that you should know about when
you replace them. Good Luck!
