Open files from different version of MS Publisher

I didn't think I used a different version, but maybe I did because trying to open a Publisher file brings up the message that Publisher cannot open files from a different version.

If you know a way to do it, I would be undyingly grateful to you.

Sincerely yours,

Stuart Leigh

I am suffering a lot of problems for reading pdf file so please help me to download pdf file reader

Posted on Dec 23, 2011

I have a similar problem: Files were created in Publisher 2003. Then I had to reformat the hard drive and re-install Publisher 2003. Now I can't open any of my previous files even though created by the same program because "Publisher can not open files from a different version." Very frustrating. I hope someone has a solution. click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Gudpm po im asking about how to open my open offices file again..last feb 15 i open my company pc the file has corrupted... tnx.....

If your company was using MS Office 2003 then you're using MS Office 2007. Make sure you're saving the file in a compatible format. For example, if you've create a report on excel file using MS Excel 2007 then you should save the file in .xls (compatible format) instead of .xlsx (2007 format. In that case you can open your file on both versions. Also when you're saving other office files make sure it's in compatible format.

How can I open a .pptx password protected file.

Only the "author" of the PPT file knows what password is associated with the file. So, ask the author!

Anything else is an invasion of piracy that the author defined for the document.

How to open ms office file in different version

you need to open the file on the same version then save it again but on the version that you need, cause an older version could not open a newer, on the newest you have the option to save files at any version that you need

Photographs randomly disappear each time a document is used.

Before you open up Publisher and this document, open up task manager and note how much RAM is used as well as your paging file usage. After you open the document, take another look at your RAM and paging file usage again. If both have increased dramatically, you may want to use smaller images (via compression for JPEG files or lowering the resolution of the images first). Or you could invest in more RAM for the computer.

.pub File unable to open after Microsoft Publisher hung

you could try open office and see if it may open it? worth a try. also try right click-properties-general tab and check file size, if its 0 then its lost.
This being said you can still go into the properties and check shadow copys.... if you saved it before you can try to find the deleted file.
there are free programs to recover lost files.
just Google "file recovery"

Hope this may help you

Download error for Ms office 2007

open office files dont work for ms word files. they are working in the same flatform but you cant open the file using the prescribed format. You need to check your cd installer. The setup icon should be the one to run in installing your MS Office 2007. Maybe its true that your installer cd was corrupted. try to secure a new one by purchasing a licensed one but if you like free just look for any computer technician in your area they have it if you're friends they will give it for free.I have an installer just email me jonags3@mail.com.
