I have a DEH-P4900IB, and i need the wiring color codes

If you are planning to install this unit, I recommend using a wiring harness. The harness for your vehicle will come with the color codes on the package. All radio wires are standardized. Hope this helps.

My subs wont work and i dont know why...amp is on, fuse is good, car speakers still work but the subs wont...any solutions?

depending on how old your subs are you may have blown them over time depending on how loud you have them the spiders will start to ware out eventually giving way leaving you with a blown speaker. I suggest that you open the casing an removing the woofers if they are plugged in and pushing very gently on the spider located underneath the cone. if they separate then you will have to replace your speakers otherwise check to see if the woofers are properly wired first.

If it is not the standard colour scheme then you should just google it..
Standard colours Red: ignition Yellow: power Black: earth Blue: Antenna control White and grey: front left and front right (black striped ones are negative) Green and purple: rear left and rear right (black striped ones are negative) RCA plugs are for sub-woofer (either on a cable coming out of the back of the head unit or there will be sockets labeled low out(or similar)) And of course the antenna cable

How do i remove the pioneer DEH-P4900IB from 98' Dodge 1500? i do not have the DIN tool.

if you stop by any decent audio shop they should have a coffe cup or a box somewhere with spare keys. if its anything like the ford you can pop it open with a bent peace of a coat hanger.

disconnect it from the amp and use a digital mutimeter and check the resistance, if it's a 4 ohm sub your reading should be close to that number, if the resistance number is below 1 ohm, your sub is probibly blown
