Need the correct convergence IC number for my Phillips Phillips Magnavox rear projection tv P6034C. I am getting the double picture syndrome . It also appears as if I cannot adjust the red convergence settings

Thats a common problem caused by failed convergence Ics and resistors. The Phillips DPTV305 - DPTV345 convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com is the correct repair kit for your model. It contains the two ICs and the 12 resistors plus the cd with repair instructions.

The convergence ICs and resistors have failed. You will need to install a convergence repair kit. The Phillips DPTV305 chassis convergence repair kit is the correct one for your magnavox. Its available at www.tvrepairworld.com and the kit contains the 2 ICs and resistors and the CD with repair instructions.

The convergence ICs need replacement and possibly the 6.8 ohm resistors. You can get the phillips DPTV305 - DPTV335 convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which fits your model. The kit contains both ICs and the 12 resistors pluds the cd with repair instructions.

That symptoms are due to failure of convergence out ICs in your TV that will be replaced to get correct converge picture on front screen.

There are 2 big black IC mounted on big aluminum heat sink and number would be written on as STKxxx, these 2 ICs will be replaced.

If you want to repair TV by yourself then confirm model number of TV to provide you more info or call local tech to replace said ICs.

You have convergence problem in your tv . You need to replace convergence IC . YOu can get from the link below .

Convergence ICs

You need to replace both convergence ICs .It will cost you around $30 .
The IC number is STK392-110 .

can i purchase the entire convergence board ihave double image tried to change the stk-120's the rear one broke now i have no picture or sound but the power show's on

are you getting sound, was it moved laterly, did you just get it from somone, did it get wet, does it make clicking noises, was the picture color/ convergence blurring before this, were the colors slowly seperating such as red/blue/green?, did the picture bow on top and bottom or sides prior to tihs, was there anything note worthy prior to the blank screen.

generally its IC convergence problem with the larger philips projection TV's however I need more info on your TV, also size make model # anything you can provide gets us a more narrowed solution.

sounds like the classic convergence IC problem. Need to change both convergence ICs . Post your model number and Iwill post a link where you casn get the correct ones for your set along with the free step by step with pictures so you can do the repairs yourself , you save at least 400 dollars doing it yourself, and takes about 45 minutes to do.
