Get an antivirus program and clean out your computer. Then go to Coby's website to reacquire the software that you need.

Files where lost on my logik mp3 player after changing the batteries, can they be retrieve?

Hi.

You might get something back if you can access the unit as an external drive when you plug it into your computer. A programme such as Recuva (http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/). Save to your hard-disc and then rewrite to the player after examining recovered files.

Best of luck,

ChrisPZA.

Hi,

You can keep your text file in any folder. And if you want to read that text file, you have to navigate to that folder and then open it.

Cheers...!

I cant abe to format my pendrive as far as i open the folder in the pendrive it is showing the same folder withsome virus and i cant able to read the data in it so, itried to format the pen drive and it is...

Try this and see if you can delete the virus this way:
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.

Not able to format 4 GB pendrive

your computer is infected with Autorun virus
you can solve your problem by two ways.

(1) go to view option in control panel then view tick the show hidden file click apply now insert your pendrive open it you a file present in your pendrive
select it go to properties and in attributes tick read only and nothing else now open notepad
write few lines that show
[Autorun]
Label=remove
Icon=ico

save it as Autorun.inf copy it and replace in your pendrive.

(2) IF the above method is fail use malwarebytes

My pendrive infected by virus, its not possible to romve virusfiles even formating also not possible version detiles SanDisk (U3 smart) micro 2GB(cruzer) plz helpme how to get it virus free

you have to stop Autorun feature of your windows which kicks in when we connect any new storage device first, then you will be able to format the drive and start fresh.

Steps to remove autorun:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967715
(restart your computer first without the pen drive and then start the below procedure)
  1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
  2. Locate and then click the following entry in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionpoliciesExplorerNoDriveTypeAutorun
  3. Right-click NoDriveTypeAutoRun, and then click Modify.
  4. In the Value data box, type 0xFF to disable all types of drives. Or, to selectively disable specific drives, use a different value as described in the "How to selectively disable specific Autorun features" section.
  5. Click OK, and then exit Registry Editor.
  6. Restart the computer.

Pen drive not open

Try this - Start -> Run -> G: or H: (what ever drive it picks up).

If it opens then there is virus called autorun.ini in your pen drive.
