Question about Frigidaire FRS26H5AS Side by Side Refrigerator
I have good water pressure going up to the back of the refrigerato to (it looks like) a seloind valve of some kind. Since I have no water after that point, is there a way to check if the valve is bad, or no power going to the valve. Also is there some trouble shooting process I can go through to find the problem?
No ice or water? It's almost a sure bet the primary valve has failed. Volt ohm meter handy? Almost any reading on the meter at the terminals on the valve will mean the valve is probably good. No reading, replace primary valve. Also check the fill tube at the icemaker to see if it is frozen, if frozen valve will probably be at fault.
