Modem light flashing

-   Same problem exactly.
Reset aqnd works fine for maybe up to 24 hrs. then flashing again.
This seems to coincide with slow page loads.
Which is ridiculous with 10Mb/s.

-   i have same rca modem installed last week as part of my comcast triple play. working fine until i tried to bring my airport extreme into the equation. now i see the link light is flashing on the modem. any chance that could be affecting my airport connection. odd because it works when ethernet cord goes directly from modem to laptop, just not when it routes through airport. could flashing link light be part of problem?-   EditorBob

-   I have the same issue with the flashing (us) light.the only thing i can tell you is that from what i have read is the modem is transmitting info for some reason.What i do is disconnect its power source and it stops but after a week or so its flashing again.-   Guest
