Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 Digital Camera
I haven't used my camera since April--it's now June. My camera would not turn on at all. I thought maybe the battery was dead, but I let the battery charge for a few days, just in case, and it still does not turn on. Now my warranty is up, is their an easy cure or will I have to end up paying a lot for a repair charge?
It could be that all you need to do is get a new battery, and I would buy a new battery first. You could order the battery from Best Buy™ by calling 1-888-Best Buy™ and asking for our parts department, or you should be able to contact the manufacturer. Another cause of this could be your battery contacts are dirty and I would try cleaning them with an eraser. If neither of these options work you should have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. You could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they will send it out to be looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!
