I bought mv 8800. I bought converter which converts from 250V-50Hz to 110v 50w So I get into my mv, with vga mode, and i see software with lags, not freezing but for example i play beat, it records not 100% how i play it real time. When i set 2meas or whatever and i record after count in, its not always playing when i hit pad, sometimes it plays real time, but does not record my note. Maybe you know any reason? How i can slove it ? Maybe its because voltage? Can i use direct 230v cable and plug it into 117v as it says on sampler?

This is NOT likely to be a problem with the power source at all but more likely with some setup parameter. Search your manual for subjects like "quantize" and also sampling rates.

Dynaudio BM - Power from 110V to 240V or 240V to 110V

Hi Guys,

This is what I have learnt the hardway so wanted to share it with everyone who wants to get his Dynaudio Speakers converted from 240V to 110V or 110V to 240V.

I actually requested many forums including Dynaudio Support as I bought mine from US and they were 110V, I wanted to use it in my Country which has 240V standard, What these guys suggested me was to order the whole AMP Modules for the speakers if I want to have them work in my country. In other words it was a solution of $350 per module totals to $700.

Shame on them as I opened the speakers myself and found a small jumper wire hooked up on the connections marked 110V and there were other connectors marked with 220V and 240V.
All I did was just took out the jumper from 110 and inserted it in 240V connectors!!
Thats about it!
So guys forget these mean techiz at Dynaudio and use my experiene to solve your problem :-)

Cheers
Satch
[email protected]

Bought from usa to australia changed to recomended fuse, fuse blows as soon as turned on the unit was brand new any ideas ?

hi,
You have to check the working voltage of the adapter of you device. If it purchased from US then it will be 110V. I think the Line voltage in Australia is 220V.Also You have to check is there is any input voltage selector in the in its adaptor . If it there you have to change it to 220V. If there is no such selector then you have to buy a 220v to 110v converter .Then connect the out put of that converter to to your device. You can by this converter at any electronic spare part shope near to you. Or you have to by a new 9V 1.3Amps AC adaptor. When you going to by the converter or a new adaptor take the device. If so they will explain you how to connect the converter or adaptor . By changing a fuse you can't change the operating voltage. If The adapter is designed to use in 110V then the fuse will blow. If you change the fuse and make more experiment with it it will make the full system useless.
