Hello.
I would not recommend you to touch the mirror. It is hanged sort of reflection surface facing down so it is not real dust collector. You can clean lenses of your CRT tubes (red, green and blue) to improve your picture. Just remove rear cover taking out black and golden screws and you will see dusty lenses right away in the middle of the TV. Use DRY "Bounty" paper towels to remove dust from lenses, don't wet it with any solutions or it will leave film on optics. Just in circular motion move dust to the black plastic edges of lenses. Don't worry about some specs of dust that inevitable will be left behind - they will not affect image at all like thick layer of dust do.
Regards.
Russ.

How to clean a rear projection tv INSIDE

This is what I did and it worked great-
I have a 60" Phillips bigscreen that has been getting dusty and actually had a spider inside the tv for about 6 yrs. This bothered me a lot until I got the guts to unscrew the back covering (the large dark grey turtle shell type plastic cover). It came off very easily.
1. I made sure the tv was unplugged
2. once inside I could see all components easily
3. I rolled it outside onto my deck
4. I used my leaf blower to instantly remove all the clumps of dust and webs followed by a once over with my swiffer
5. I then used a soft glasses cleaner cloth to fine clean each of the 3 colored lenses
6. a damp soft cloth was used to clean mirror
7. replace the back cover and go! It made a huge difference in picture quality

Worked fine for several years. Now photo print colors are out of balance.

try doing a head clean on the printer. you may have to repeat the head cleaning about 10 to 15 times.

Dell E153FP monitor won't display any video from system (Dell GX260). My e173FP monitor works fine. E153FP powers up, runs Self Test Feature Test fine, menus all seem OK. Tried Factory Reset... still no...

You probably have tried this, but make sure monitor is set to correct display... i.e., Analog or Digital

Also, try starting in safe mode and verify Monitor is able to handle the display settings resolution

What kind of mirror would be for a 1993 SL2 saturn passenger side.

Your mirror is most likely black, just like all the other Saturns of that year. Knowing that, now is it power or manual? Now you go to ebay motors and search for a passenger side mirror of the right color and control. There are lots of them listed and all will fit all Saturn SL models 91-95. There is a little phillips screw holding in the cosmetic piece inside the front door at the front of the window. Unscrew that and you will see three larger nuts, take those off and the mirror will come off. Put your new mirror on the reverse order.

Words (movie descriptions etc.), just became fuzzy this week and the color is mostly ok when there is a close up on the screen, but watching something like a B-ball game is a little out of focus. I did the...

Sounds like you need to clean the lenses and reflective area inside your set. It is easy and all you need is a screwdriver, windex and a paper towel. UNPLUG YOUR TV.   Take off your screen and screen protector and safely set them aside.
Clean only the lenses ( glass part) and the reflective mirror type area on the top of the inside of your set.  It will look like new. You need to do this at least once a year.

Picture doesnt look as clear as before.

If the colors are mis-aligned or letters are out of focus, you may need to repair. For mis-alignment you can push the flash-focus button on the front to autoconverge the colors. Replacing the CRTs would cost a fortune. If the picture has just degraded in brightness and clarity, you cold clean it out. You can safely clean the mirror and lenses, it can greatly increase your picture if its dirty. If you unplug your tv you can safely remove the back and gain access to the lenses. All it takes is a philips screwdriver. After you remove the back, you can remove the light barrier between the upper and lower half to free up some room. Take a dry scratch-free cloth and wipe the dust from the lenses. If they're grimy, use a little lens cleaner (liquids used sparingly here, electronics don't like liquids, be careful) You can look up into the top and see if the mirror is dirty. A flashlight shined on it will illuminate the dust/dirt if its there. If you don't smoke you likely won't need to clean the mirror, but it may need it. Use windex or similar for tough grime.. I can usually reach up to get the whole mirror but I've heard of using a swiffer mop to reach the top. Removing the screen is difficult but possible if needed to get inside. Don't touch the back of the screen but lightly with a rag to get cobwebs, etc.
