On some mp3 players, the songs cannot be copy-protected, even if the specs say they can take wma format. Also, the cheaper music subs don't give you transfer rights, even though they allow you to play the song on your computer. What music svc are you using? It makes a big difference.

My philps gogear audio player

The songs that you are attempting to put on the Go Gear have a non-supported license type. They are either iTunes format or DRM-protected WMA's that are not compatible with the GoGear. Acquire songs that are in Mp3 format, and you will not have this problem.

RCA Opal 4001/4002 – Transferring Videos

You will need to download the RCA Media Converter from RCA's website, and then convert the videos before they will transfer to your player.

Songs skip mid tune? not ev song but enuf 2drive u nuts

Update the firmware.
Reload the songs.
If the problem persists:
Re-rip the CD songs in Mp3 format in Windows Media Player
Then reload the songs. WMA format has a checkable option that is normally turned off by default, but must be turned on inside your Windows Media Player - it is much easier to reconvert the songs into Mp3 format than to tell you how to change this WMA option.

Try to listen to songs on my Mp3 player (sansa c240) it no wrk

You have to connect the mp3 player to the computer and refresh your device through Bearshare - their songs have fixed licenses, which require you to refresh every 30 days or less.

not sure but did you convert media before you put it on your player? Some must be converted before the sync process.

Make sure that there is available memory. If there is, then you will need to do a firmware upgrade and reload the songs onto the player. If you already have the latest firmware, then you will need to reformat the player either in Windows Media Player or the computer. If that fails, use the repair function in the Philips Device Manager.

DRM not supported

This player definitely supports drm, but there are different versions of drm. I would first check the songs that you have downloaded to make sure they did not have "temporary" licenses with a fixed end date. You can do this by right clicking on an individual song, clicking on properties, and selecting the "license," "digital rights mgmt" or "media usage rights" tab - the wording varies by configuration. It will give you info on the license.

To fix this problem, you will need to convert those non-supported DRM files to Mp3 files using Mp3 conversion software.
