if you want to flash repair or update your mobile's software you need the flash files and programs and technical knowledge. if you have trained in software repairing you can do it. it is very difficult and sometimes the phone is dead. so i suggest you to update the software of your mobile at the mobiles service center. they will update your mobile software. don't forget to rate my solution.
It is very difficult to update a mobile software without any experience or training in software repairing. you need the flash programs and flashing tools and your mobile's software you wanted to update. If you are not a mobile repairer then don't do it by yourself because there is a risk of phone's being dead. so he if you want to update your mobile's software go to your mobile's service center and ask them for doing this.
If the O.S. is corrupt, it's not possible to get it worked without Flashing, formating will make it completely dead. Even updating the firmware isn't possible and you'll end up with a Dead Set.
The only thing you can do is to get it flashed from a Service Center or from a Nokia Mobile Repair Center.
I did the same thing, Blue Bay Electronics had a seven day warranty just long enough to fool me into giving a good report. Anyway look for a repair center and spend another 100.00. Good luck
