Question about Nintendo Wii Console

6 Answers

HI. Recently i found a game online that i have been looking for for ages. The Game is skies of arcadia. I bought it from the USA (ebay)and it will not work on either my nintendo wii or nintendo gamecube. The game is on one of those mini disk things for the nintendo gamecube. I belive it is not working because both of my consoles are PAL types and the game is not (i think). Is there anyway to get a non PAL game to play on a PAL console? If so how do i go about doing it? Thankyou for your time. Scott

You might need to mod it... which may be costly if you dont do it yourself.. otherwise its a region locked game and you wont be able to play it!

I think you can do it with the wii homebrew channel.

The homebrew channel should be able to do this.

Another solution without modding for the gamecube would be to buy a freeloader disc. It doesn't do anything to your system except boot it up so it accepts a "foreign"game. Nothing is physically done to your system + everything is back to the way it was when you turn it off. I don't suggest it for the Wii because a Wii system update may render something like a freeloader useless in the future.

You should be able to find softmods on the internet for about 20 bucks. You can wire in a chip if you know what your doing. You can also softmod the Wii with a copy of Twilight Princess, to install the homebrew channel which you can use an all region disc loader app inside the channel.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The 16 digit number or the product key for your game is can be found it is CD Case..Look for it there. You can also find it inside the cd installer. Browse in its folder and look for the key. If you can't find it then ask for the key from the store where you bought. Don't forget to rate me.. Thank..
