If the tape can not eject by press the button, you can only unload it manually, but you'd better ask an expert to do it, such as me, haha.

Why does my cassette player eject tape

Auto-eject mechanisms normally will eject the tape at the end of the tape. However, if the tape jams or is wound too tightly, it can cause the auto-eject to activate. This prevent tape breakage. Commercially recorded music tapes rarely get too tight, but the cheaper C90 and C120 tapes that people buy often will do this.

Tape wont eject

Hi,
From the tape library console, on the menu, select the slot view option, find out the slot of the tape you want to eject. Then move the tape in that slot to the male slot using the 'media move' option menu. The tape will be now ejected to the male slot.
Please come back and post your ratings if this solution helps you in anyway. Thnx

Cannot eject VHS tape from Sony SLV-X811

I had a similar problem with a Panasonic VCR. It would not eject the tape and gave an error code. I found that the door does not quite fully open, so that the top of the tape hits the door and cannot eject. If I turn off and then turn on the VCR the error code disappears. Then I press the eject button and simultaneously hold the door fully open with one finger until the tape starts to eject and clears the door.

Cassette

Most VCR's will auto-rewind the tape when it gets to the end of a tape. Most will leave the tape in the unit assuming you may wish to view it again once rewound. Does the tape eject properly when you press the eject button? What does the manula say about the eject function?

My Drive will not eject the tape

Turn off the tape drive. (Switch in the back of the unit. Wait 2 minutes and then turn unit back on. Tape drive should issue a write data command and then rewind the tape. After rewind completes the tape should eject. If it does not eject after rrewind completes than try holding the eject button for 5 seconds to attempt a "force eject"

Note: Do not repeatedly press the eject button as this can cause damage to the tape and the tape drive.

Ultrium LTO 2 Tape Drive

Try holding the eject button down, for a long time, about 20 seconds (1 and 2 and ). This resets the tape drive, the lights on the front should go off, then come back on again. The tape will either eject automatically or will eject after the button is pressed normally.
The only time this dosen't work is if the tape is still out inside the drive.
