Same as other Ford problem, normal operation, it's usually the trubo-charger to blame.

Maybe your vacum booster is shot. Are you having to apply more pressure to the brake peddle than usual?

check your oil and fluids this usually is an indicator that you are in danger of engine damage

first check all fuses.replace all burnt fuses check the big main fuses in distribution box in engine compartment,if this is a diesel engine.I would start looking at a direct injection module 100% its usually located on driverside inner fender 2"x8"x10" dimensons

you need to have the engine coolant switch checked,since the computer relies solely on sensors,the ect tells the computer how cold or hot it is so the computer will make it a rich or lean mixture to start the engine,if it tells the computer that it is 75 degrees the computer will lean the mixture like starting a car in the winter without a choke.

i wouldnt cut anything..
without the fan shroud on properly you will overheat

that's good but it still doesn't rule out a leak in the high pressure oil system. When you turn on the key do the injectors buzz like normal? Usually 5-10 secs

1st you should see if you have voltage to starter ,but this sounds like a bad ground wire from engine to firewall.
