Question about Proscan Televison & Video

Television Was watching the tv when all of a sudden the pic went blanks and the sound dissappeared. Now it does nothing at all totally black

  • plug other devices into the outlet to make sure you have not tripped a breaker.
  • unplug the tv for 30 to 120 minutes and then plug it back in.

gud day..ur tv needs a qualified serviceman.. maybe in the video setion of the PCB theres a coroaded solder..you need a soldering iron and lead to reinforce the coroded terminals..ty

Does the timer/stand-by light blink at all? If so, count how many times it does. It will usually be in intervals. If it isn't blinking, and you have nothing on the screen, you might have a problem with the "G" Board, part # A1316499A.

You are having a high voltage problem. Quite possibly in the horizontal deflection. I would check the horizontal output and regulator transistors.
