Why when playing from phone the tv cuts off

My tv will play for an hour or so, then will shut down. If I wait about half hour, will start playing again, then the same thin


If this is a DLP television, it could be getting warm in the room it is in. Usually they will shut down like that when the thermostat detects a certain temperature to save the TV from overheating and damaging components.

If you have a cooler room in the house, see if it still happens.

DLP keeps shutting off


Check Lamp Fan or Fans and it could be that the Lamp is going out.

I have to unplug to shut off and then it won't come back on.


Replace the ssb. A board the size of a playing card. PN# PH3912725871. Follow the instructions that accompanies this part. Your main concern will be the geomtry!

TV shut down now won't start back up.


Bad capacitors 3 of them cp150,cp114,cp120 on Deflection board if cp150 is puffed up on top it is bad ,so replace all 3 caps. Parts at Radio Shack.2200uf 16v and 2) 220uf 35v.

Funny sounds tend to lead to a short of one or more componets most likely the HOT and FBT I also would not rule out the convergance IC's. this repair should be left to the repair gods.
