Hi yajenssen,

According to your product's manual, available on Canon's website at http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0900001447/PSSD700ISIXUS800ISCUGba-EN.pdf', 'PSSD700ISIXUS800ISCUGba-EN.pdf, you may delete pictures during playback mode.

When you are viewing the picture you wish to erase, press the button with an icon like a trash can (down from menu button). You then should confirm delete by pressing set.

Thank you,
Jason,

Date stamp is not available

Try setting the picture resolution to "Postcard" (1200 pixels width). Then try turning the date/time stamp on. For Canon's, this feature is only available for use in this lowered resolution. Have no idea why they designed it that way.

Hi there! I have a Canon PowerShot SD700 is. I have bought a Sandisk 8 GB. My camera cannot read it. It says: Memory Card Error. What can I do about it? Many thanks for your help

The SD700 works with MMC and SD cards. Your 8GB card is an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use SD cards, which max out at 2GB.

How remove all pictures from camera chip

The best way to remove all pictures (and everything else) from the memory card is to format it. In fact, the memory card should be formatted in the camera every time you finish downloading pictures from it.

Images not uploading to computer

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the Canon's software. Something may have gotten corrupted. This is the simplest and fastest thing .
  2. If that does not work, think if you need Canon's software - you can browse to the Canon directory under "My Computer" (or whatever you computer's name is), and copy the JPG files from under there.
