You can easily fix a flat without removing the wheel from the bike if it uses a tube application to inflate racers use this method to save time as you just have limited space to do your repair apposed to removing the wheel completely dunno just a thought because im thinking your bike has wheel tensioner jigs on the rear axle and they can be tricky to get rite if your unaware of how they work and you could do more damage then good so try to slip the tire off one side pull the tube out and mend your flat and dont forget to check the interior of the rubber for burrs of foreign material less then a 10 minute job good luck message back if your stuck ok :)

I think EVS are the Australian distributors for PowerPed, so contact them and ask for a copy of the user manual for your model or instructions for removal/refiting the wheel.

I have a bebecar ip op and i want to know how to detach the rear wheel as it has a puncture?

The rear wheel is held in place by a locking clip which is controlled by a lever. To remove the wheel, simply press the lever rearwards, and pull the wheel away from the housing. Remove the tyre carefully, using appropriate tyre levers, in order to repair the puncture in the inner-tube, or to replace it.

How to remove rear wheel to have puncture repaired please.

  1. Turn fuel tap off.
  2. Remove both side panels.
  3. Lay scooter on engine side ( on some kind of blanket or mat to protect the bodywork. don't forget handlebars and front mudguard.)
  4. Remove the 5 nuts holding the wheel to the hub with a 13mm socket. (make sure you remove the hub nuts and NOT the 5 which hold the two halves of the wheel itself.)
  5. Slide and wiggle wheel out past the exhaust.
  6. Do the above in reverse when puncture fixed.

My quinny rear tyre is flat tried to inflate the tyre but still does not work what should i look out for

you have a few choices
but if you want a long term fix you are better off getting a new inner tube as once a puncture occurs with the quinny wheels they will carry on doing it but theey are cheap enough to replace via ebay for about £6

if you dont want to replace you will need to remove the rubber wheel from the hub as you would a bike tyre then remove the inner tube
pump the tyre up put in water so you can find the hole then fix with a puncture repair kit

if you want to carry on using you can fill the tyres with tyre weld as you would a car they dont puncture and makes the quinny a smother ride

and if all else fails you can buy a used or new pair of wheels from ebay between £15 and £30
hope this helps x
