Have the bose cinemate system bought the same new remote does not work

Maybe a silly question, but did you get the batteries in right? If they are in correctly, then take the remote back to where you bought it for an exchange.

Our remote control for our Jensen JE2608 is not responding - we have replaced the batteries but still nothing - it seems the little light does not come on - do i need to replace the remote??

Normally, when the light does not come on and nothing happens, it means that there's a fault connection inside the remote somewhere critical (Meaning a wire is not touching where its supposed to.)

My brother fixed several remotes, but he's an electronic whiz and used a good deal of soldering.
Give the remote a few good taps (smack it on your hand, never hit hard surfaces), and see if it makes its connection again, even for a moment.

Whether or not this is the problem, it sounds like you'll be needing a new remote. I suggest going to walmart or best buy and talking to an employee about remotes and which ones work for which televisions, and then order one for a decent price online.

Sidenote: Make sure that the batteries are in correctly.
Make sure that the springs in the battery compartment are functioning as they should and the batteries aren't sliding around, even a little.

That's all I got. Hope it helps.

We got the moon in your room and can't get it to work. Chnaged the batteries twice, made sure the moon was on, pushed all the buttons and nothing. please help.

Well.. without going into great detail

Assuming you placed the batteries in the Moon.. and switched it to ON..

A couple of things.. first.. the room lights must be out.. it has a sensor so it won't illuminate with lights on.

Also.. I know it's redundant.. but make sure the batteries are oriented correctly +/- per instructions in both moon and remote control.

And finally..the"Moon" must be hung on a wall.. in a vertical position using one of the three mounting holes.

Best of luck!

Sony RM-Y180 remote control

Did you install the batteries correctly?
Some remotes (Universal) need to be re-programed when you install new batteries.
Go to remotefinder.rca.com/default.aspx?site=rca for proper codes.

Remote will not work

if the light is staying on this means that a button is stuck down on your remote. It might be defective I would contact the company about warranty.
