Question about Motorola Phones

Open Question

My name is Phyllis Broadbent and I work for Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia. One of our driver has an i670 phone and she has been having problems with getting a signal for a month or longer. I took her phone and laid it open on my desk for several hours and watched it periodically. I never moved the phone. One minute the phone would have a signal the next it would not. We are also having a problem with getting it to charge. Sometimes it will take a charge and other times it will not. We got that phone for 49.99 and was informed that in order to get a replacement we would need to pay full price since we have not had the phone for one year. I do not feel that we should need to pay for a replacement since she has only had for 9 months. The phone has not been abused and still looks brand new. If you have any questions you can e-mail me back at pbroadbent@ssseva.org of you can call me at 757-222-4508 Thank you any assistance that you can give. You need to talk to the system administrator. They control the Voicemail.

SOURCE: changing time (ie. clock) and changing names of lines

Hi Michelle,
To change the time you need to press the 'Prog' button, then press the * key twice, so '**' then enter '1234' then enter '000' then press the 'enter' button (located bottom right hand corner of phone) and this will allow you to change time accordingly.
To change extension name, press 'Prog' button, then press the * key twice (as above), then enter '1234' then enter '000', then enter '004' then press 'enter' button (as above), this should then get you to the spot where you can change the name.

OK, I got this from somewhere else. But anyways, pick up the phone and dial 700, then dial the extension number, then finally you can punch in the name like you would doing a text message. When you're done, hit Hold, hang up, and hit Speaker twice.

When the "check phone line" message appears, it is referring to telephone service and not the wire. It appears that your phone jack is "dead" or that there is no working service in the home. Do you have another phone that you can use to check the jack? Is there another jack that you can plug the phone into for a test?

MICROMAX Q5 MOBILE PHONE with pc

Hi,
I am posting all the steps which I did to connect my Micromax Q5 phone with my PC for Aircel Internet.

In my Q5 phone:
Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Data Conn. -> GPRS -> ADD ->
Name: aircel net
APN: aircelweb
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
HTTP ->
Authentication: Normal
Proxy: No

Then next step:

Menu -> Services -> WAP -> Settings -> Select SIM -> SIM 1 -> Profile -> SIM 1 -> aircel net -> Activate Profile.

Then I can use Internet through my Opera Mini & also throgh WAP homepage.

Now I have insert CD -> Installed -> ''Installed Driver.exe''

Its showing Driver Installed successfully.

Next I opened Phone suite -> then gone to Blue icon in the Phone suite folder -> Click on settings -> General -> select port -> COM 1 -> Create connection -> Create/modify ->

Name: aircel net
APN: aircelweb
Number: *99#
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
New-> Create Connection -> Connection successfully ->

But now what I need to Do?

or Did I mistake anywhere?
