because the control must stop the fan when needed.

when this is not possible either the control module is not responding to signal or the temperature sensor is not detecting the temperature

ur problem could lie in either of the places.

The switch to the fan could be not functioning as normal, or it was not totally functioning.. it it better to check it right away.

if have a background or idea on how to do the work, check at the thermal switch / selector behind the control panel, the connection of the cooling fan is nearly there..

After the oven has been on 1 hour, or so, it shuts down. Also the controls go blank. After the oven cools down, the controls return and cooking can continue.

Hi,

I think you have a cooling fan issue with your unit, if the thermostats are sensing the unit is too warm it shuts down. So if the cooling fans is not coming on is will happen also. I hope this answers you question. Good Luck

We do not have this type of information. Contact Sears Direct for parts, they can get parts for most products like this.

Fan stays on long after oven is shut off in brand new viking daul fuel range. It's been on now for 45 minutes. All controls are on OFF.

loads of ovens do this. It's a pain, especially if you eat in the kitchen. If you switch the appliance off and on at the wall it usually stops it. Why the fan stays on, god knows. pointless.

Cooker delonghi professional dfs903 6 ring hob has terible fan like noise whenever you turn the oven on which has now become unbearable and occurs whether using the grill, the oven on fan setting or not....

i had the same problem, the noise is coming from a circular fan located under the hob itself. not from the fan at the back of the oven.its a cooling fan.i bought a new one online around £70 and got a local gas fitter to install it. its a real big job and most if not all of the gas connections to the hob have to be disconnected its a big job.but worth it.
i have the same problem with the door, thats what im looking for.
if i find a solution ill let you know

I would be suspicious of the thermostat. It or the sensing element may have failed.
