Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. the best way is to order the part from your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or to contact the parts dept @ Hoover Factory and one or the other will order or send the part out or you UPS or for pup @ the vac dealer. Please include the model 3 and the ser # with your request. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Take it to your local Hoover warranty station. You have a one year warranty. These new machines are giving some trouble.

How do I check my hoover floormate deluxe spinscrub's filter and motor? Thanks in advance!!

The filter is at the top of the recovery tank (dirty water tank), should be replaced when dirty or odors occur. as to your motor, there is no way for an end user to remove any cover and check it. If you are experiencing noise, have it checked by an authorized service center.

Hi, how do I check my hoover floormate deluxe spinscrub's filter and motor?

Hi Mike! To check the filter on the Floormate deluxe, remove the dirty water tank and pull up on tank lid to separate from the base. Check foam filter for debris, if filter has debris, rinse it with water. To prevent internal damage make sure you are using only the Hoover Floormate detergent. If the machine is still noisy and smells bad we recommend taking it in to a Hoover authorized service center. Follow the link to find the nearest service center to you. Hope this helps! My Floormate isn't sucking up the water either on the cleaning or the dry cycles. New in February. Can't find my manual.

The most common reason for a lack of pick up is that the plastic filter cover on top of the dirty water recovery tank is missing. The cover is clear plastic with a large hole in it that seals against the motor inlet.

I have a hoover floormate h-2800 that does not suck up the water

this is a great vacuum. however it does require an extensive cleaning every now and then. diaassembly is required for this. there is a hose that goes from pick up to the tank. make sure this is clear. also your filter should be clean and dry.

Hoover floormate 3060

You should first check to make sure that the machine is set on wet pick up and not dry. When in dry mode ( the front foot pedal on the left side) the machine is held slightly above the floor. When is wet mode, the squeegees drop down to the floor. The other problem may be the wheel assy is broken. Turn the machine over and check the black plastic wheel carrier at the back of the assy to see if the pivots are broken.

Won't suck up water from floor

1. Check all the tubes from the nozzle to the collection tank and make sure they are not clogged up. I've had tht happen pretty bad before. 2. Check the squeegee. If it is damaged or torn, replace it.
