Hi cool or high fan still not working the back unit is the same unit.

So I used the following parts from the rear unit one at a time and tried it each time with no luck (Yet.)There are three small tube looking electrical units that all are like the capacitor in the same place. I replaced all with identical ones one at a time no luck. then I replaced the fan motor with the identical one . No luck. Then I took out a box that has the main power to it and 4 colored wires and a thermostat wire and replaced it with identical one No luck then a small little black electrical diode looking thing and replaced it no luck.Has to be the Control board in house or compressor.Which one do you think?

Yes but the high fan and high cool fan does not come on to flow air anywhere except on low cool or low fan. This occurs with Generator on or shore power. Are you refering to a circuit board that is in the house inside the filter cover?

It looks like a control problem with the thermostat or relay board (if you have a wall mounted thermostat). If the compressor is coming on, then you need to look into the airflow of the unit. Whether or not the compressor is coming on, you need to check the voltage. Like every appliance on board, the air conditioner needs adequate power to operate. If the voltage is 110 volts a.c. or below, the effectiveness of the unit will start to suffer. After verifying correct voltage, we need to look at how the air conditioner does it's job- it requires adequate air flow over both the inside (evaporator) and outside (condenser) coils. If the air filter is clogged refrigerant will not be able to pick up enough heat from the inside air, and if the condenser coils are blocked by leaves, it will not be able to give off enough heat to the outside air.

Fujitsu airon ASTA24LCC 2 flashes green and red then 5 red flashes any idea what it means

Had similar problem (ie. 2 green & red flashed followed by 5 red flashes - Fan blowing but not cooling ... I also noted that the outside unit fan wasn't going). Tried restarting several time after waiting only a minute or two after turning the mains power off but with no change. So turned the unit off at the mains power and then fired it up about 2hrs later and it was all working fine.

I own an RCE24C2A a/c that stopped cooling last weekend. The run capacitor was bad (can bloated) and was replaced. I also found that the high pressure cut off switch was bad ( voltmeter reads open...

Before working around or with your AC unit, be sure that all power to the unit is disconnected. The switch can be replaced without having to evacuate your refigerant, it is shown how in this instructional video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z7PLhqQAlo. Determine what type of pressure switch you will need according to how many wires you need, then follow this link to purchase the switch needed: http://www.americanhvacparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=8c7070e8fb882954689484b1e9cd2880&Store_Code=AM&Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=ps-amana. I see that you had a capacitor issue in the past, sometimes the HVAC repair companies won't install the new capacitor correctly on intention so as to get more of your money; if you didn't already know, the capacitor is what makes the fan run so if your system is on but the fan isn't running, your capacitor is bad. Here's how to fix it yourself for a fraction of the cost of the HVAC repair company: go to the back of your outside unit and look inside the access panel with the electrical warning sticker on it, if the capacitor is bowed up at the top, it needs to be replaced. If it turns out to be the capacitor, follow this link for a new capacitor replacement kit. The kit also comes with the proper tools and parts needed as well as detailed instructions on how to replace the part yourself. http://hvacrepairkits.com/index.php/content/article/68
I hope this helps!

These units are known for not working too well even if the rear coil is the least bit stopped up. This is the first thing you need to check. Pull the unit out of the case, (unplugged) Peer through the rear fan blade and inspect the rear coil. The rear coil looks like a radiator. When it is plugged up with dirt, the unit will only work partially and will overheat quickly. The compressor may only work part of the time. If this is not the problem, you either have a compressor that has weak rotary veins (valves) or low on refigerant.

Cleaning the coil: The rear coil is screwed to a rear fan shroud. You can take these screws out and carefully pull the rear coil out enough to wash it out good with a water hose and sprayer. Be aware, there are two line of tubing connected to the coil . If you are too agressive pulling this coil out of the shroud you can break these copper lines or kink them causing all kinds of problems. So, be careful and take your time. Also, make sure you don't have a real high pressure coming out of the sprayer so that you won't bend the aluminum fins. Hope this finds your problem

The Amana air conditioner is not getting cold.

when is it the last time you cleaned the unit and changed the filters? it may be working good but you need to maintain the unit...clean all filters and see if you can vacum alll parts especially the condensing unit (you may need air pressure) can you move the unit to outside so you can clean it good? if you can use air or water pressur to clean it after you cover the lectrical parts. Good luck. (save your money this unit need cleaning only)

The outside unit is not working on my Heil Air conditioner

The attic fan is not a part of your a/c system, and you should not run it while you are running the a/c. If you are currently using the attic fan, it is possible that someone wired it so that the a/c won't turn on while the attic fan is on. Otherwise if the thermostat is set below room temp, and says it is calling for cool, then the problem is most likely coming from an issue at the outside unit itself. Make sure to check your fuses, at the fuse panel and outside breaker. Hope this helps

FYI.. the only part of the system that might use batteries is the thermostat.

Go up on roof and using a stick or similar, poke it through the air holes in side & try to turn the fan blade at rear of the air conditioner. Make sure it's off at the time. Try to get 2 or 3 complete revolutions of the fan blades, then try turning it on fan only first, and let it run on fan for a few minutes, then switch to cool. If worse comes to worse and you can't get blades to turn, remove cover on roof (watch for wasps & bees) and spin fan blades a few times by hand, step back & have someone try fan only. If that works, then try cool. Sometimes they get a dead spot from sitting, and that will get it going again, 90% of the time. Let me know how it goes.

High cool not working

Compressors on these units runs at only one speed. The change to high cool is only a change in blower speed moving air faster over the cooling coil. I would have the running capacitor for the fan motor checked. A bad capacitor can cause your type of problem. The other problem could be that the high speed winding in the fan motor is bad. Try it operation in the fan only position through the two speeds. If it works in the low and high speed for fan only your problem could be in the selector switch.

High cool and low cool not working

Hi,
Pls check the following....
1) Fix the wire connector to Reversing vale
2) Check the Capacitor if this a low capacitance or (open) not function using Multi-tester.
3) Check the Selector switch if this is not function using Multi-tester . or check the PCB Board (if electronic your units) replaced the Board.

If not yet,go to the nearest repairman to repair that units.

Thank you,have a nice day.
