Question about HP Computers & Internet

Cracked tablet screen... T.T

I have an HP Pavillion tx 1000 with a cracked screen. It's messed up the touch sensors, so I can't use the pen.

Is there a way to get this fixed? Or does it have to be completely replaced?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Have a hp pavilion tx2000 laptop. outer screen is cracked but display is fine. can i replace just the cracked part and still have touch screen?

hi.
yes, of course.
you can visit a service center of HP Company and ask for "Shield or Cover Screen". (they ask you the exact model of your laptop)
and they will give you a cover screen which should be installed by yourself.
it's easy and cheap.

be sure you have the latest driver or you might also try the original driver. I personally don't download this driver from Windows Update .

I have a HP Pavillion TX 1000. Did everyone heard

It is highly improbable that heat from the CPU can crack a LCD screen. Even if the fan was faulty the CPU would have shutdown (thermal overload) before it would affect the LCD screen. If you apply pressure to the face of the LCD screen or twist the screen or impact the screen with a hard object, any of these will cause the LCD screen to crack.
