Question about Fujitsu FPCRC05 Remote Control
I need help. I have a dual zone Fujitsu ductless system. The remote says AR-RY7 on it. Is it possible to obtain another manual on how to use it properly? Thanks. Crescent 818-404-9536
The solution is to remove Jumper J5 at the top of the circuit board. For that you will need to open the remote by removing the 3 screws underneath, split open the case and then remove the 4 srews inside. Removing such a small jumper requires precision and you should use a magnifier to focus. You can scratch it off gently using a flat blade screedriver. Test before reassembling. I have succesfully converted both of my remote to Celsius. Fujitsu is guilty for that, the metric system is around for over 40 years everywhere.

I have the same remote(and the same issue), for a Fujitsu ASU9RMLQ system. I just found the link to the manual for my system, it has some instructions on how to use this remote:

The remote control model number for the 12RLQ system is AR-RY7. To convert remote control model number AR-RY7 from Fahrenheit to Celsius, please remove J5. Do not remove R4.

Solution #1 is almost right.
For the AR-RY7 remote, remove jumper J5 not J4.

For those who would like to get the info.
Here is the instruction to switch from Farenheit to celsius with this remote:
OK. The process is pretty easy. You will need a pen size Philips head screwdriver and a pair of tweezers.
First: Remove (3) screws from the backside casing of remote
Then: Open the casing by separating the top from the bottom.
Then: Remove (4) screws around the circuit board
Then: Lift board and carefully remove the display screen
Then: On the printed side of circuit board locate J4
Then: With your tweezers remove the J4 jumper. (Be sure it is totally removed, with no connection)
Lastly: Reassemble your remote.
Following these instructions will convert your remote from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
This information was posted to me from Fujitsu Representative.
