It's best to replace the entire cable.
There are seperate repkacement terminals, but you need to make sure you get a good install on them

2007 ford fusion PCM location

I know this is an old post but may help others

The PCM in my 2006 Ford Fusion is below the battery against the firewall.

You will need to remove the bracket holding the battery, the battery, and the tray that the battery rests on.

The PCM is held to the firewall with 4 bolts and I believe they are 10mm. Remove plugs and unbolt.

How to unlock 2007 chevy equinox immobilizer

Most new vehicles seem to do this, just take the positive teminal off the battery clean it with a wire brush and put back on making sure its tight. If the battery is getting older replace it. If this doesn't work hook up a battery charger and try taking the key back out.
