Cannot get the Home Theatre speakers to play when I am watching regular TV. Turned the speakers OFF on my Sony Bravia, made connections per the owners manual, still no luck
Here's a link to the sleeve: http://www.oaktreeent.com/Akai_Reel_Tape_Deck_Capstain_Speed_Sleeve_Replacement.htm
Oops sorry wrong problem.
The audio out of your TV will need to be plugged into one of the audio inputs on the receiver. Can't really find much information on the receiver as it's a Walmart house brand and don't know the OEM equivalent but I am suspecting that it's one of those home theatres with the built in DVD player right? Not a audio receiver per say. So look on the back of the receiver to see if it's got an Auxillary or TV input then look at the back of your TV for an audio output and connect those two together with a red and white RCA audio patch cable.
