Most Ryobi products made in the past 5 years use a 50:1 fuel mix. Check the fuel cap to see if it is listed there. The older Ryobi product used a 32: 1 fuel mix ratio and it was usually listed on the sticker that shows you how to work the choke. If in doubt, go with the 32:1 ratio. The only thing it will cause is premature fouling of the spark plug. Too little oil in the mix will cause premature engine wear.

50:1 is 2.6 ounces of 2 cycle mix to each gallon (U.S.) of gasoline.
32:1 is 4.0 ounces of 2 cycle mix per gallon.

I recommend to use a 2 cycle mix that is specifically designed for lawn equipment and contains fuel stabilizer. The ones with stabilizer will usually be .5 ounces larger.

Good luck!

What type of oil do i add to the gas for a ry30240 weedeater?

Any type of 2-cycle engine oil will work fine. Just make sure it is 2-CYCLE engine oil, and not motor oil! Also, mix it at a ratio of about 1 part oil, to 40 parts Gas. Hint: The Ryobi equipment seems to like the 87 octane better than the low grade fuel, especially in high temps! Good luck!

What is percentage of oil for Ryobi cs 30

Fuel/Oil Mix ratio is 40:1. That is 3.2 oz oil per gallon of gas, or 1.6 ounces of oil/ half gallon of gas. I highly recommend using a good synthetic 2 stroke oil. Many benefits there.

What is the correct fuel mix for the ryobi 790R trimmer?

The window ratio should be fine between 40/1 to 50/1.

Reduce oil ratio by increase gas part if some unburned oil can visible from the exhaust.

Do you use mixed gas for a ryobi weed eater??

Unless it has a tag or decal on it saying it is a 4 cycle then it uses mixed gas/oil at about a 50:1 ratio. Straight gasoline will freeze the piston in the cylinder in mere minutes.
